2. Visiting In-Person: It is for Elderly Receipients Mostly

If you prefer face-to-face assistance, visit the closest SASSA Office. Please read and follow the specified important observations.

  • Please bring all these documents: your South African ID, current SASSA card, TymeBank initial deposit slip, account confirmation letter, or bank card.
  • An ambassador will fill out a banking details form for you (Annexure-1).
  • They will update it on the system, and then you will receive an OTP.
  • Take your time, have the officer write down the required OTP.
  • They will then update your information on the system again.
  • After verification, collect your receipt.
